The
Environment Agency uses in-house resources to write the bulk of its communications
material. When it came to producing punchy copy for a series of national magazine
press ads inviting entries for its prestigious Water Awards, the Agency chose
to source an external copywriter. Artwork was produced by Bristol-based designers
Plus One.
Objective:
To re-iterate the credentials of the Environment Agency's well-established
Water Efficiency awards, tell businesses how they can benefit from being associated
with water conservation and encourage applications for an entry pack. Two versions
of the press advertisements were produced - a half page variation, as shown below,
plus a full page ad.
