Project: Annual review for SAGA Group through designers Renton & Johnston (now JohnstonWorks)

 

Direct marketing

An in-depth annual review for one of the UK's most dynamic and successful companies - commissioned by the SAGA Group at the point when former owner Roger De Haan had decided to sell the business. This document supported the sale process which eventually led to a management buyout backed by private equity firm Charterhouse valued at £1.35bn ($2.43bn).

Objective: To communicate the many facets of SAGA Group's business which focuses on delivering high quality services to the 50+ market including travel, insurance and other financial products, radio stations and one of the UK's most popular subscription publications, SAGA Magazine. This striking, innovatively designed piece features sector reviews by key members of the SAGA senior management, as well as 'cameo' profiles of staff members from all corners of the business, customer case studies and financial data. Gathering and collating such a large volume of information demanded regular direct contact with a wide range of SAGA managers and other staff.
